Xiaomi Mi 6X Launched in China with Snapdragon 660 SoC and Dual Rear Cameras

Xiaomi has launched the new Mi 6X smartphone in China. The brand-new Xiaomi Mi 6X (Mi A2) comes with AI-enabled dual rear-facing cameras and has an 18:9 display. The phone runs on Android Oreo out of the box and also supports fast charging.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. It comes with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

In terms of camera, Xiaomi Mi 6X features dual rear cameras (20MP+12MP) which include a combination of a 20MP primary sensor and a 12MP secondary Sony IMX486 sensor. On the front, the phone has a 20MP camera with LED flash.

The Mi 6X comes with a 3010 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device comes with an 18W fast charger. Xiaomi Mi 6X comes with a fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster and supports AI face unlock feature.

Xiaomi Mi 6X Price

The smartphone will be available in three different variants.

  • The model with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage costs 1,599 Yuan (Around $253)
  • The variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage is priced at 1,799 Yuan (Around $285)
  • The model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 1,999 Yuan (Around $316)

It will go on sale from April 27 in China.
