LG has officially launched the new LG V40 ThinQ smartphone and LG Watch W7. The new LG V40 ThinQ is the successor of LG V30 ThinQ. It’s a 5-Camera Phone with triple rear-facing cameras and dual front-facing cameras. The phone is IP68 water and dust resistance. The price of LG V40 ThinQ is $899.99 in the US. It will be available in four different colors – Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, Platinum Gray, and Carmine Red. It will go on sale in the US from 18th October 2018.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection 1440×3120 pixels. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor powers the device with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage. You can use a microSD card up to 2TB for storage expansion.

The V40 ThinQ comes with triple rear-facing cameras that include a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.5 aperture, a secondary 16MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a third 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. This rear camera setup comes with Optical image stabilization, 2X Optical Zoom, Dual PDAF, HDR, AI Cam mode, and LED flash.

On the front, it has 8MP (f/1.9) + 5MP (f/2.2) dual front cameras. You can use a 90° wide angle lens to get the full picture in the selfies.

The handset has a 3.5mm headphone jack, BoomBox speaker, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, and FM Radio. For network & connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 4G VoLTE, GPS / GLONASS, etc. The phone is priced at $899.99 in the US.

The company has introduced a new smartwatch named LG Watch W7 along with the V40 ThinQ. The smartwatch runs on the Wear OS by Google. It packs a 1.2 inches LCD and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset.

With the 240mAh battery, the watch can run for two days in smart mode. The smartwatch is compatible with all standard 22mm watch bands. It is priced at $449.99. It will be available from 13th October 2018.
