Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 Launched with 12.2-inch Display, Built-in Pen, and 13MP Rear-facing Camera

Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Chromebook Plus V2. It comes with a Full HD display, ChromeOS, a built-in pen and offers better and stylish design. The Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2) will be available for $499.99 in the US. It will be sold via BestBuy.

Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2) Specs and Availability

The new Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 features a 12.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by the Intel Celeron 3965Y processor with Intel HD Graphics 615. The device packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 400GB).

The new Chromebook Plus V2 runs on the Chrome OS. Users get access to millions of Android apps on Google Play Store. The device has a 13MP (f/1.9) rear-facing camera and a 1MP front camera for selfies and video calling. It has two USB-C type ports, a USB 3.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card reader. The Laptop comes with a 39Wh battery, a built-in pen and two Stereo Speakers (1.5W). The dimensions of the device are – 11.34 × 8.19 × 0.63-7.0 inches. The weight of this laptop is 2.93 lbs or 1.3 kg.

The new Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2) will be available at BestBuy website and store from June 24th. The price of Chromebook Plus is $499.99 (Around Rs 33,991).
