Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite Launched in China with Dual Rear Cameras & 24MP Selfie Camera

Samsung has launched its new smartphones named Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite in China. Both the phones come with Super AMOLED Infinity Displays, Dual Rear-facing cameras, and Fingerprint sensor. The new Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is priced at 2999 CNY and the Galaxy A9 Star Lite is priced at 1999 CNY. The smartphones will go on sale from 15th June 2018.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a 6.28-inch (1080×2220 pixels) FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features 16MP + 24MP dual rear cameras with LED flash. On the front, it has a 24MP selfie camera with AI-based features.

The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and has 3700 mAh battery which supports Fast Charging. The device supports 4G VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bixby Assistance Voice, NFC, etc. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Price:The Galaxy A9 Star is priced at 2999 CNY in China. It will be available in two different colors – Black and white.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a 6-inch (1080×2220 pixels) FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

The phone has Dual Camera Setup at back consisting of a 16MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera. For selfies, it has a 24MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite comes with a 3500 mAh battery. It runs on the Android Oreo operating system. The fingerprint sensor is located at the back of the device. The smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi, NFC, etc.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite Price:The Galaxy A9 Star Lite is priced at 1999 CNY in China. The phone will go on sale from June 15.
